Madonna - Shock & Blah

An article in today's paper stated that NBC has decided not to air the 'mock crucifiction' scene from Madonna's 'Live to Tell' concert next month. This action taken to calm the religious groups who are up in arms over the act. Religious leaders called it a "bad taste publicity stunt." When are people going to realize that's exactly what it is... A stunt, merely to gain publicity. When people make a BIG deal about such shenanigans they feed the publicity... Which quite literally feeds Madonna, the publicity hungry whore that she is. She played this whole game back in the 80's with her 'Like a Prayer' video & Pepsi commercial... It was a blatant attempt at tongue wagging then and now it's just a tired and really, pretty sad repeat of the same. What's up Madonna? Can't get your name in enough tabloids? Why not find a new way to piss off the religious right and if that doesn't work, adopt an orphan from a third world country.

Here's a thought... If you ignore the monster, it doesn't eat... And if it doesn't eat, it'll end up dying of starvation... So folks how about just ignoring the monster.
