Tightly Wrapped
Having been working on redecorating my daughters bedroom for a week now, one thing has become apparent...
My daughters bedroom is comparative to a very small, very tightly wrapped box that is packed to the seams with confetti... Open the box and the entire house ends up smattered with paraphernalia.
I guess it doesn't help that Christmas exploded all around us at roughly the same time but, it just leaves me tired and wondering when I'll find the energy to get everything back in its respective place.

This is why nothing in my house even has a respective place. It's just easier that way. Sometimes, you just need to let the chaos wash over you.
Amy
i feel your pain. it took us a full week just to get one teenage girl's room ready for guests. it was THAT bad and there was no painting or christmas happening yet...
My Dear Amy... The chaos has left me feeling quite literally, drowning... You'll note that even Ms. Armstrong of Dooce has felt the need to tidy things up a bit.
Sweet Lime... I guess it's just teenage girls rooms in general then, huh? Seems you took on far more home decor than I did so I bow (though, due to aches and pains, not too deeply) to your exhaustion.
