So the old man and I are coming up on 26 yrs. of wedded bliss and we're trying to decide where to go for a one or two night getaway that won't break the bank.
We're talkin' late November folks... Any ideas? And might I add ANYPLACE that boasts 'in room, heart shaped jacuzzi's' will not be up for consideration...

I don't know if you're gamblers or into nightlife but Las Vegas is hurting for tourists and you can get some screaming deals there. We're staying at the Paris hotel for five nights OVER NEW YEAR'S EVE for free to celebrate our 16th anniversary this year! And you can get show tickets (La Reve at the Wynn is amazing) for half off or buy one get one for $25 if you look for the specials.
well, i guess that rules out my locale. LOL
We liked Louisville this summer.
oooh! what about someplace in Shenandoah...a lodge maybe? I think one of the vineyards out there is a B&B also...
or...
Outer Banks..that's not too too far, the drive would be scenic, it's gorgeous out there (though this time of year a bit quiet)
